Choose QRCode Monkey when
You only need the QR code and want it styled — brand colors, rounded dots, your logo in the middle — or need EPS for a designer. Test styled codes carefully: low contrast and big logos make them harder to scan.
Choose FastCardGen when
You want the whole kit from one form: the card with the QR code on it, a .vcf file to email, a card link for your bio, an email signature and print files — or cards for a whole team from a spreadsheet. Everything is made in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
Either way
Keep the code to the details people need, print it at least 2 × 2 cm, and scan it with two phones before printing a batch. QR code print size guide

Frequently asked questions
Is QRCode Monkey's vCard QR code free?
Yes. It describes its static codes as free, also for commercial use, and says they don't expire.
Which one scans better?
Both encode the same vCard standard. Scanning depends mostly on size, contrast and how much you put in the code — plain black on white scans best.
Can I use the SVG from FastCardGen in my own design?
Yes. Download the QR code as SVG and place it in Canva, Illustrator, Figma or Word.
Do I need an account for either?
No.
Contact files follow vCard 3.0 (RFC 2426); QR codes follow ISO/IEC 18004. Checked 2026-11-07.
