When Blinq is the better choice
Blinq makes sense if you want your card in Apple or Google Wallet, an NFC card to tap, lead capture at events, or a team dashboard where IT can update everyone's card in one place. Those are server features, and the subscription pays for them.
When FastCardGen is the better choice
- You need a card today, without creating an account.
- You print paper cards and want the QR code on them to keep working forever.
- You share contacts by email or chat and want a real .vcf file.
- You're making cards for a team and don't want a per-card monthly bill — $9.99 once covers the whole team.
A middle way
Some people use both: an app for analytics and lead capture, and a vCard QR from here on printed cards and slides, because it works without signal and doesn't depend on any account.
Blinq is trademarks of their owners. FastCardGen is not affiliated with them. Competitor plans and prices are as listed on their websites and in public reviews in November 2026 and change often — check their pricing page before you decide.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free alternative to Blinq Premium?
For the core of a digital business card — card, QR code, contact file, link and email signature — yes: FastCardGen is free without an account. Premium extras like analytics and wallet passes are not offered here.
Can I put my FastCardGen card in Apple Wallet?
Not as a wallet pass. Save the QR code to your photos or add your card link to your home screen instead.
Does the QR code work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Both camera apps read vCard QR codes and offer to add the contact.
Is my data stored anywhere?
No. Everything is made in your browser. Your card link carries the details inside the link itself.
Contact files follow vCard 3.0 (RFC 2426); QR codes follow ISO/IEC 18004. Checked 2026-11-07.
