What a digital business card is
A paper card has to be typed into a phone by hand — and most never are. A digital business card skips that step. It can be:
- a QR code people scan to add you to their contacts,
- a .vcf file you attach to an email or message,
- a link to a page showing your card with a Save contact button.
FastCardGen gives you all three from the same details, plus an email signature and a printable card.
Share it in person
Open your card link on your phone and let people scan the QR code from your screen, or save the QR code to your photos. At events, put the QR code on your badge, booth sign or table tent. A code scans from roughly ten times its own width — a 5 cm code from about half a metre.
Share it online
Paste your card link into WhatsApp, Messenger, LinkedIn messages, your Instagram or TikTok bio, or your email signature. It opens as a clean page with your card, tap-to-call and tap-to-email buttons, and Save contact.
Why there's no account
Your details are packed into the card link itself, so there's nothing for us to store and nothing for you to log into or renew. The flip side: to change your card, edit it here and share the new link (or a new QR code).
Frequently asked questions
Is a digital business card free here?
Yes — the card, card link, contact file and QR code are free. Pro is an optional one-time pass for brand design, print files and teams.
Do digital business cards work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The vCard QR code is read by the iPhone camera and by most Android camera apps or Google Lens, and the .vcf file opens in the Contacts app on both.
Can I add my photo?
Yes. Your photo appears on the card and is saved inside the .vcf file, so it shows up next to your name in the other person's contacts.
What's better: QR code or link?
Use the QR code in person (it saves you straight to contacts) and the link online. The card link page also has a QR code people can scan from your screen.
Contact files follow vCard 3.0 (RFC 2426); QR codes follow ISO/IEC 18004. Checked 2026-11-06.
