Find your LinkedIn QR code
In the LinkedIn mobile app, tap the QR code icon in the search bar at the top, then the My code tab. You can save it to your photos from there; the Scan tab reads other people's codes. (LinkedIn moves things around occasionally — if the icon isn't there, look in your profile's menu.)
LinkedIn QR vs contact QR
| LinkedIn QR | Contact (vCard) QR | |
|---|---|---|
| Scanning does | Opens your LinkedIn profile | Saves you to their contacts |
| Gives phone and email | Only if they're visible to them on LinkedIn | Yes |
| Needs LinkedIn account / internet | Works best with the app, online | No / no |
| Good for | Connecting on LinkedIn | Calling, emailing, following up |
One code with both
Add your LinkedIn profile under Social profiles in the builder on this page. The .vcf file and your card link include it, so people get your number, email and LinkedIn in one go. Keep the QR code itself light; use Opens my card link if you want every profile reachable from one scan.
Put it to work
- Last slide of a talk: a card-link QR so people can save you and find your LinkedIn.
- Email signature with a LinkedIn link and a Save my contact link. Make one
- Printed card: vCard QR on the front, LinkedIn handle in the contact lines.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my LinkedIn QR code?
In the LinkedIn app, tap the QR icon in the search bar, then My code.
Can a QR code add me on LinkedIn and save my number?
Not both in one action, but a contact QR or card link can include your LinkedIn URL alongside your phone and email.
Can I print my LinkedIn QR code on a business card?
Yes, but most people find a contact QR more useful on a card. Add your LinkedIn handle as text or in the card link.
Does the LinkedIn QR code change?
It points to your profile URL, so it stays the same unless you change your public profile URL.
Contact files follow vCard 3.0 (RFC 2426); QR codes follow ISO/IEC 18004. Checked 2026-11-07.
